1. A You're Adorable - several people, I think, inc. Perry Como and Jo Stafford. My MOTHER used to sing it to us.
2. Overs - Simon & Garfunkel (from Bookends)
3. Sloop John B- by lots of folks, inc. the Beach Boys

I knew the Dire Straits, Dylan and Neil, but should have gotten Gaston. If the big as a barge line were in there, I'd have gotten it for sure.

I'll be back and check the others.

Oh, man! The only unguessed one I recognized for certain was number 19, "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'n' Roses.

Unless I'm wrong, in which case I look foolish saying I recognized it for certain...

#16 is the wonderful "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman. One of the most beautifully heartbreaking songs ever.

I want to say #14 is Sting's "Fortress Around Your Heart," but I don't think that's it.

As I think I've said elsewhere, as much as I love Tracy Chapman, and as much as I thin k she's written some great, great songs in her career, it's a little strange that this, her first song, will always be her best. And you're in the wrong section of the record store for #14. ;)
