Weren't Juliet and Ben a couple in New Otherton? and if so, doesn't that mean that Adult Ben remembered the mechanic from when he was a kid when she came to the island? And isn't that a little creepy?
No. But that's what Ben wanted. Juliet was shacked up with Ethan and when the plane crashed Ben sent him to get killed by the Losties. Much to his surprise, this did not endear Juliet to him.

THat's right. Now I remember. Still, he should remember Juliet from childhood, right?
I think that will depend on how the island reconstitutes him after last week.
