Sweeney Todd has won its first award of the award season - Tim Burton for Best Direction, from the National Board of Review. Huzzah!

    But did he *really* win? Or was Ben Affleck too busy singing his own praises - about filming the Pope, or whatever - to notice that Burton had finished quickly and efficiently?
